#LebIDAHOT: A call of action for all the bloggers, and the writers in you…

Published May 14, 2014 by angrytinkerbell

On Saturday the 17th of May, the world celebrates the IDAHOT (International Day Against Homophobia and Trans-phobia).

Lebanon this year is witnessing an initiative coming out of Proud Lebanon, and organized by other organizations, activists and supporters, meant to spread tolerance amongst the Lebanese Society through social media, we’re talking Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and maybe Youtube.

The Angry Tinker Bell invites you to be part of this initiative through writing articles, whether personal stories or fiction, whether on your blog, or if there is a hidden writer in you that just wants to write anonymously, Proud Lebanon’s blog is ready to share your thoughts.

It’s a chance to express yourself, in an Online Marathon that would be shared by many.

Say no to Homophobia, Transphobia, Discrimination, Hate…

Refuse Bigotry, refuse double standards.

Express Tolerance, express compassion, express acceptance.

And most of all show love to your friends, family members, and to human values.

The community retaliates to injustice, so do the allies.

Support diversity and respect of your brothers and sisters.

The Hash-tags to be used #LebIDAHOT , #ProudLebanon.

A gathering for activists would be happening in Bardo this Sat 17th of May, from 10am to 3pm, that if anyone feels like joining, otherwise each and everyone of you can contribute from work or home.

The warm ups for the campaign have started today, so inform your friends and start being active. Saturday won’t be just another day.

Tomorrow is definitely, a better future.
